Diesel Performance Converters Policies & Warranty Information
All products subject to 90 days Returns & Refunds policy unless otherwise noted.
Diesel Performance Converters, Inc. torque converters are warrantied for a period of 3 years, from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser. This warranty shall cover defects in material and/or workmanship of the converter. Diesel Performance Converters reserves the right to determine the course of action as to repair and/or replacement of the warrantied product. Converters that are being submitted for warranty must be returned to Diesel Performance Converters with a copy of proof of purchase. All repaired or replaced converters will be returned freight collect.
Under the first 90 days of warranty, Diesel Performance Converters will reimburse R&R labor, not to exceed $400, upon the inspection and determination of converter failure. After this period labor costs incurred by the removal and replacement of the product, while performing warranty work, will be the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Fluid and filters are not covered under this warranty. Warranty will not apply to converters damaged due to low fluid conditions, competitive use, or damage associated with broken shafts.
Diesel Performance Converters will not be liable for towing charges, rental car, travel/lodging expenses, loss of wages, business losses, or any other consequential damages that may arise under the provisions of this warranty. Diesel Performance Converters will not pay for or reimburse costs for any fluids replaced in the event of a converter failure. Converter warranty is not transferable.
Diesel Performance Converters will not be responsible or liable under this warranty if the customer does not return the required core within 30 days of purchase.
**If lifetime warranty is purchased it follow provisions in above warranty.
